Mountain climbing in Karlovy Vary: the rocks of Svatošské Skály, climbing walls

Karlovy Vary offers a possibility of using rocks to lovers of natural rocks as well as artificial climbing walls. You can try your climbing skills in the rocks of Svatošské Skály, or in the resort of the natural outdoor pool of Rolava on an artificial climbing wall.

Svatošské Skály

The area of Svatošské Skály is a set of many rock pillars, prisms and cones arisen by weathering of granite massif and by the River Ohře action. The sight of this preserved natural formation can make an impression of a wedding procession. So the rocks are called after that ( Groom, Bride, Musicians, Bestman and Maid, etc.). In the Svatošské Skály are ideal conditions for mountain climbers. In 2009 the whole rocks went through a complex cleaning process.
